چکیده
This article analyses Sigmund Freud’s reflections on war and violence, especially in his two main works this issue: Thoughts for the Time of War Death (1915) Why War? (1932). After presenting these essays placing them their historical contexts, I briefly review what authors have written about recent years. then attempt to contribute something new discussion by examining four propositions: justification disillusionment caused war; suspicion peoples states; denunciation primitivism hypocrisy human beings; determination maintain hope culture history. consider key points separately, showing importance social theory critique modernity civilisation general.
